Featuring four sculptural surfboards, each reflecting the exact size and style of boards surfed in Scarborough across four decades:

• 1950s – The Cordingley Okinoui (7’11)
• 1960s – Malibu Triple Stringer (9’2)
• 1970s – Sunrise Surfboard (6’9)
• 1980s – Indian Ocean Round Tail Flyer (6’3)

Together, the boards pay homage to Scarborough’s rich coastal and community history — from Luna Park Fairground in the 1930s, the iconic Snake Pit dance venue of the 1950s, to the founding of the Scarborough Surf Life Saving Club in 1928.Set within the public open space and parkland, this joyful installation celebrates surf culture, place and memory — perfectly at home by the sea
