The video begins with the Council float in the centenary of local government in WA parade through Perth city. Footage includes a marching girls competition at Robinson Reserve in Tuart Hill, the opening of Maylands Yacht Club building, the newly formed City of Stirling band, a reception at council chambers to honour elderly citizens, the National surf lifesaving carnival at Scarborough Beach, bicycle races on roads around council offices, Arbor Day celebration at Osborne Primary School, a debutante ball at the North Beach community hall and the Osborne Park Agricultural show. Images of traffic on Scarborough Beach Road, a pioneer's cottage in Balcatta, and Tranby House, Maylands are also featured.
